I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a break away from the city's hustle and bustle, the tranquility, serenity and peace is unlike any other place I've been to. Watching the sunsets from the comfort of your couch, to seeing all species of birds just casually fly over the accommodation. The Quagga's who come when you call them for a pic, its absolute magic! I'll be back soon!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. An absolutely amazing place to unwind and switch off. The hosts were incredibly kind and the service was top tier. The accommodation is exceptional with quality furnishings and amenities. The WiFi was decent as well but the most amazing sounds of birds and river songs will ensure your stay here is memorable. The game drive and boat trips, arranged with reception, were both enjoyable and memorable. We saw a number of animals including the Quagga, springbok, some small duiker thing. We missed the buffalo as they rested under the shade of the bushes, but advice given was to ask for a game drive with the trailer as this is a food run which the animals know and usually come out for. An amazing stay and one that I would genuinely want to go back to. A wonderful family holiday topped off with a stay at a wonderful and private chalet. Highly recommended!

Game Drive: Welcomed at the jetty, by a friendly team after a boat charter from Velddrif, we encountered rare and captivating animals, including golden wildebeests, springboks, quaggas, sables, and the elusive cape fox. Guided by a knowledgeable expert, we gained fascinating insights into the wildlife, making every moment a privilege. Highly recommended.
